Three Southampton High School athletes — Alex Franklin, Tyson Reddick and Naevon Williams — were named to Newsday’s Top 100 Long Island Boys Basketball Players list. Franklin, a junior guard, earned his spot on the list by averaging 12.9 points, 11 rebounds and four assists last season; Reddick, a senior guard, was recognized for averaging 7.7 points and making 51 three-pointers last season; and Williams, a senior guard, was honored for averaging 17.5 points, seven rebounds and six assists to help lead the Mariners to the Suffolk Class A title. He also landed 1,000 career points last season. The Southampton School District extends its congratulations to these athletes.
