Southampton Strings Students Perform at Prestigious Festival

Three talented Southampton High School students recently represented their school as top string musicians at the Long Island String Festival Association Suffolk Secondary Festival. The musicians had the opportunity to work closely with world-renowned conductors and perform in concerts at Hauppauge and Northport high schools.

They were selected to perform based on their NYSSMA scores and teacher recommendations.

The Southampton School District congratulates cellist Leah Hadyn and violinists Tristyn Sammy and Chloe Voluck-Sviedrys.
