SHS Outing Club "Bike to the Beach"

With beautiful fall weather, the Southampton High School Outing Club hosted its first “Bike to the Beach” event on Oct. 27. Donning helmets, members learned basic bike safety before heading out for an eight-mile ride to Coopers Beach via Gin Lane and Meadow Lane and around Agawam Park. They also stopped for ice cream in town. The bikers all acknowledged the beauty of the town they live in.
