SHS Yondr Pouch Logistics

Governor Kathy Hochul has initiated a "distraction-free schools" policy in New York State, which includes a "bell-to-bell" ban on smartphone use in K-12 schools. To follow New York State policy, Southampton schools will be giving Yondr pouches to all students in grades 5-8 who possess a smart device such as a cell phone, smart watch or ear buds. Attached is a slide show describing how Yondr pouches work and how SHS will implement their Yondr pouch protocols.
