Southampton Students Participate in Student Day at the Suffolk County Legislature

Southampton High School students recently participated in the League of Women Voters’ annual Student Day at the Suffolk County Legislature, where they learned more about the role of the league and the legislature. They also participated in a mock legislative session, during which they debated a bill on armed security guards for schools by acting as legislators and members of the public.
