Running for Mental Health

As part of a districtwide social and emotional learning day, Southampton High School hosted a color run on May 21. Smiling students took to their school’s track to be coated in colors as they raced. The day also featured a workshop and circle activities presented by the Eagle Academy Foundation and I Dream organization. At the elementary and intermediate schools, students were treated to special performances by the Harlem Wizards and other social and emotional learning activities throughout the day.
