Let’s Go Fly a Kite

Southampton High School students in Dianna D’Amico’s culinary arts and pop culture classes are taking advantage of the blue skies and warm sunshine as they move their learning experiences to the outdoors. The students were given the opportunity to fly kites and blow away their back-to-school stressors with bubbles. They also connected with each other by creating personal plate portraits that express how it does not cost anything to laugh, walk, run, smile, try something new, or just sit and take deep breaths in the sunshine.
