30 Inducted Into National Honor Society

Thirty Southampton High School students were recently inducted into the National Honor Society during a candle-lighting ceremony. Current honor society members spoke about the organization’s four pillars of scholarship, leadership, service and character, and in his keynote address, Principal Derek Robinson encouraged students to use these pillars as their guideposts through life. To be eligible for membership, the students were required to maintain an unweighted GPA of 92 or better, meet the standards of leadership, service, citizenship and character, and complete six hours of community service.
