Students Build Holiday "Tree Of Positive Affirmations"

Students in Dianna D’Amico’s family and consumer sciences classes at Southampton High School are stepping into the holiday season with gratitude, creativity and kindness. This year, their classroom has been transformed with a “tree of positive affirmations,” showcasing handmade decorations created by each student. Every ornament features a personal affirmation that reflects the student’s values, hopes or an encouraging message. In addition to contributing their own designs, FACS students are encouraging their peers to take part. Anyone who enters the classroom is invited to add a positive affirmation to the tree, helping it grow with uplifting thoughts.
