Successful Job Fair Held At Southampton High School

To help students in grades 8-12 obtain summer work experience, the Southampton School District hosted its fourth annual job fair at Southampton High School on April 2. The fair gave participating students the opportunity to garner career information and apply for jobs at more than 60 local businesses. The businesses represented included local restaurants, beach and golf clubs, plumbing and heating companies, local summer camps, police departments, the Town of Southampton and local shop owners. The job fair was coordinated by Thomas Little, the work-based learning coordinator for Southampton High School, and the counseling department.
